Software Engineering
JR Lawhorne, Founder
JR started his career in software engineering in 2002 after receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Bridgewater College, a small private college in the Shenandoah Valley. JR has worked in the field of data fusion and large data volume entity tracking systems since receiving his degree. He is highly experienced with several object oriented high level languages as well as several scripting and mark-up languages. JR also has a high degree of experience working with extremely large volume database servers and writing the interfaces between applications and those servers.
In November of 2006, JR founded Fieldstone Software in hopes of building a successful software company. He has managed that growth ever since and is very happy with the success of the company thus far.
In his copious spare time, JR enjoys doing home renovation projects, mowing grass (but not weedeating), hanging out with his family, wood working, and helping with the technology needs of his church, Memorial Baptist Church in Staunton, VA.
Daniel Worley, Software Engineer
Daniel has been crafting code since 2003 when he started his Computer Science cirriculum at James Madison Universitty in near by Harrisonburg, Virginia. He will have his B.S. in Computer Science completed in the Fall of 2008. Daniel is experienced in many areas of software engineering but specializes in the development of custom web applications.
In his spare time, Daniel enjoys XBox 360 and PC gaming as well as hiking local trails.
Graphic Design
Jenn Wade, Lead Graphic Designer
Jenn was born and raised in Staunton, Virginia. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Mary Baldwin College a small private college in the Shenandoah Valley. She majored in Graphic Design and achieved a double minor in Drawing and Religion. After graduation, Jenn worked at a small web development company in Staunton called the CyberCafe and Training Center for two years. She then accepted a position with American Saftey Razor as a graphic designer in the art department concentrating on package design for consumer shaving products, where she is still employed while working part time for Fieldstone Software. Jenn has trained extensively in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign and specializes in design for print. We also frequently have Jenn design elements of client projects including their web sites, logos, business cards, envelopes, etc.
In her copious spare time, Jenn enjoys stationery and invitation design and printing, knitting, home improvement projects, and spending time with her family.
